I cherish Christmas—not for its commercial aspects, but for the spirit of hope, kindness, and renewal it brings. The season evokes a sense of peace and generosity, reminiscent of the quiet joy that follows a fresh snowfall.

Having lived in places with snowy winters, I appreciate the unique feeling of tranquility and wonder that new snow inspires. It was on a very cold November night back in 1986, during a snowstorm, that I started writing this song, and it was on a warm November morning in 2024 when I finished it.

With “IT’S CHRISTMAS AGAIN,” my aim was to convey this sense of freshness, hope and joy, encouraging listeners to embrace childlike wonder, support those in need, and move beyond past regrets.

I hope these lyrics inspire a longing to be with loved ones, foster a sense of community, and treating neighbors as extended family.

And, of course, I want them to bring forth a vision of reindeer with sparkling eyes!
