JON F. ANDERSON

Born in the Motor City and raised on the rich heritage of Motown, Jon F. Anderson built his lead-guitar chops on a soulful foundation that still shapes his sound today.

A colorful, expressive player, Jon moves easily from the edge of jazz to the border of metal while always embracing rock and roll. His memorable lead lines and distinctive phrasing have become his signature “Detroit sound.”

Over the years, Jon has performed with Soul Syndicate & The 8th Day, Paradox, Niki Holland and the Dirty Elizabeth’s, Fort Street Union, and the Detroit Culture Killers. After spending years performing across the Midwest with Sly Fox & Maxeen, he met Robert L. Hunt and became a founding member of At Random.
