MAGNETIC ATTRACTION

From My Memoirs:

Sitting down again with acoustic guitar, paper and pencil to write this song, this thought occurred to me. What was the difference between my failed vs successful relationships with women and what was the magnetic pull between lovers?

While I never totally realized or finalized this thought, I did conclude that, at the moment of first encounter, I was either indifferent or immediately attracted.

That resonated with me! Out of “immediately attracted” came MAGNETIC ATTRACTION. After playing a few chords on my guitar the lyrics flowed out like a springtime current in the Colorado River. They came out so fast, and natural, that it spawned what I could call its sister song, Au Natural.  What a fine November day it was!
